Kloosterboer has realized a new state-of-the-art fully automatic multi-customer high-rise cold store with a storage capacity of 60,000 pallet places at the City Terminal in Rotterdam.

Two years after the realization of Kloosterboer Cool Port I, where LUMINAID also supplied the DATALUX linear lighting, a state-of-the-art fully automatic high-rise cold store has now been realized. Pallets are delivered by self-unloading or conventional trucks and are automatically transported from the dispatch hall via roller conveyors, turntables and locks to the cold store, where cranes automatically place the pallets in place.

Alliance Automotive Group Benelux is one of the most important players in the automotive aftermarket. They are an internationally operating company, specialized in the distribution and sale of car parts and car accessories. Alliance has executed a technical feasibility study for a large number of locations into the possibilities of new lighting. Challenge

Scania Trucks is driving the creation of a sustainable transport system, by creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society and the environment. Lidl works every day on sustainability and making a healthy lifestyle affordable and accessible for everyone. Lidl considers it important that in addition to its product range, its business operations are also sustainable. For example, Lidl ensures that they build sustainably, reuse the residual flows and prevent food waste. Lidl, together with landlord WDP N.V., has opted to significantly reduce electricity consumption in the warehouse in Genk.

Solution

The facility management team of the lessor WDP, together with a project team from LUMINAID, has devised an optimal lighting solution. In addition, the old lighting was completely replaced by energy-efficient DATALUX line lighting. Lidl’s electricity consumption in the warehouse has thus been greatly reduced. Challenge

Since 2018, Brouwers Transport has a logistics center of 12,000 m2 on the Rietveldenkade in Den Bosch. DATALUX line lighting is used to full satisfaction. Brouwers is growing fast, so contractor Unibouw and Hendriks Installatie have built a second warehouse, the same size as the existing building. It concerns a warehouse with eleven loading and unloading docks, two ground level doors and several other offices.

Solution

Together with Hendriks Installatie Techniek BV from Gemert, LUMINAID once again provided the complete lighting in the warehouse. The DATALUX system provides a unique light experience for the employees in the reach trucks and the loading and unloading areas. DC Braak warehouse

Challenge

At the beginning of 2020, warehouse facility DC Braak was completed at the Borchwerf I business park in Roosendaal. This modern and high-quality logistics distribution center was designed by Stripes architects and developed by Intervest. Builder Bolckmans realized this building with a total area of approximately 28,600 m². The DC has been developed with the ambition of Breeam Outstanding and provides, among other things, solar panels, LED lighting and motion sensors.

Solution

High-quality installer Van Dijnsen took care of all electrical engineering. One of the challenges was a uniquely uniform lighting experience at the highest sustainability standards. Sanitair Kamer in Hardewijk is supplier of high-quality sanitary articles and tiling. For a better design of their business processes, a new industrial hall of 3,000 m2 has been realized in the town of Hardewijk. Botec Bedrijfsruimtebouw was responsible for the realization, Brian Franken Technieken was responsible for the electrical installations. A linear lighting system where a safe and pleasant working environment was created was one of the most important requirements.

During the realization of the roof, the electrical installation company De Kock from Geldermalsen was engaged to realize the electronic installations against the latest requirements. TSN Group in Houten is a fast-growing logistics service provider in Houten. With their own warehouses, they provide webshop logistics, service logistics, warehousing and self storage. To fulfill the growth ambitions, they have realized a new distribution center in Houten together with F5 projects. Together with Van Weerdenburg Electrical Engineering, an integration of various technologies such as light, data and presence detection was sought.

Challenge

Transtune is a young and innovative company in Deurne, Brabant. The company was founded by Harm van Bussel, one of the youngest automotive entrepreneurs. Harm grew up among cars, worked on transmissions at an early age and made this a flourishing company in combination with his knowledge of car electronics. Transtune focuses primarily on engine management systems and overhauling of automatic gearboxes. They do this for every type of car. Their modern workplace is equipped with high-tech diagnostic equipment to locate and remedy malfunctions in engine management and gearboxes. A good light level is of the utmost importance. Old fluorescent lamps provided insufficient light and had to be replaced regularly. Transtune was looking for a solution that would measure itself against the quality of its own services.

Solution
